Aunty Home Cooking 住家伙食

Trust & Food Safety

How we handle food, what we claim, what we deliberately do not claim, and how to verify us before you order.

Where your food is cooked

Every meal is cooked in one home-based kitchen in Puchong, Selangor. There is no central plant, no reheating hub and no chain of subcontractors between the wok and your table. The person cooking is the person who answers your WhatsApp message.

That single-kitchen structure is the basis of everything else on this page: traceability is simple when there is only one place food can come from.

Daily food handling

Ingredients are bought fresh each morning rather than stocked in bulk and frozen. Raw and cooked items are kept separate during preparation. Cooking runs in small batches through the morning instead of one large pot at dawn, and packing happens shortly before the delivery run.

Fried items are cooked close to packing time so they do not soften in transit; vegetables are cooked last so they arrive green. Meals go out the same day they are cooked – there is no next-day stock.

What we claim

That the food is cooked fresh on the day it is delivered. That we use less oil and less salt than typical takeaway cooking and rely on aromatics rather than heavy stock powder. That the menu rotates daily. That the photographs on this website are real deliveries from our own kitchen.

Every one of those is verifiable. The photographs are published first on our Facebook page as deliveries go out, and customers can see over months whether the variety and portioning hold up.

What we deliberately do not claim

We are not a halal-certified kitchen, and our rotation includes pork on some days. We do not display a certification we do not hold.

We do not publish calorie counts, macro breakdowns or nutritional tables, because we have not had dishes laboratory-tested and we will not invent numbers. We can always tell you truthfully how a dish was cooked and what went into it.

Allergies and dietary restrictions

Tell us before you order. Seafood, egg and nuts are the ones that come up most often. A small kitchen can accommodate more than an industrial one, but only with notice – and we will say plainly when something is beyond what we can guarantee.

We cook multiple dishes in one kitchen, so we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If a reaction risk is severe, please take that into account.

Reviews and how to verify us

The customer reviews shown on this website are screenshots of real public reviews on Facebook and Xiaohongshu, reproduced in the reviewer's own words rather than rewritten as marketing copy.

The most direct way to verify us is our Facebook page, where deliveries are posted as they happen. The second is a trial week: households, kindergartens and offices all commonly start that way, and we encourage it.

If something goes wrong

Tell us the same day. A delivery that arrives late, a dish that is not right, a portion that is wrong – a small kitchen can usually correct it by the next delivery, but only if it hears about it.

We would genuinely rather receive a complaint than lose a customer quietly. Message +60 10-865 5536 and it reaches someone close to the kitchen.
